SpicyMcChigs: Ok.
eemontero: Excellent analisis by Lara Logan
chingon711: if we are not going to send more troops, which is clearly needed, then bring them all home.
slygirls09: stupid title book "Only The Super-Rich Can Save Us
salix1970: i hate cbs but Lara Logan has been covering the war for a long time, with the troops.
cabdisomali: Don't trust the Corporate / Western Imperialist Media.
nubbs: where do you get your news? which journalists do they employ? how do you know you can trust those journalists as opposed to lara logan? what is it that logan says that you believe is driven by a corporate western imperalist media?
nubbs: my question for logan is: say NATO destroys the taliban and a reasonably effective government is stabilized in afghanistan (huge "ifs"), what's to keep al qaeda from staying in waziristan, or moving to yemen or somalia, where they have maintained a presence? defeating the taliban will hardly affect al qaeda. it wont cut off their funding or precent them from planning elsewhere
glentubin: Love Lara Logan! (The best thing to ever happen at CBS) She is telling it like it is and I like it! The USA should fight a war the way a war should be fought. Either go all out or get out! There's no in between. The Afghanis need to demonstrate their resolve to maintaining their freedom or the USA is just wasting valuable resources. Additionally, I never liked seeing a volunteer army understaffed, under fed and over stretched. This has been going on since Bush bombed Iraq. Just shameful!
gunnermac70: Oh my god, actual journalism on American TV! Does this get screened or is it just an on-line segment?
calamagrostis88: Too bad he didn't ask Ralph Nader about Afghanistan.
LMAO0O0O0: Mr. Obama, How does it feel to be a mass murderer ?
