Itchhhh: I feel bad for these folks. I wish this suject was not pushed in my face all of the time but I guess I'll have to deal with it. Doesn't matter what I say but the three major religions, Christian, Muslim, and Jew say thay Homosexual activity is wrong. Wonder if they have something here??

angbrumett: The three "major" religions you mentioned are anti-homosexual mainly because homosexuals do not reproduce naturally, and these religions are all about having kids to add to their numbers. The Bible and Koran and Torah do not mention the dangers of over population because it wasn't the reality when they were written.

angbrumett: Just because homosexually makes some people uncomfortable doesn't mean it is deemed a sin by any divinity. Jews are not comfortable with pork products. Christians eat pork. Something seems evil when you believe it must be evil, but it is a perception based on your culture, indoctrination, and personal experiences.

angbrumett: Kern was saying that it is a deadly lifestyle because of a high suicide rate and disease... suicide rates are higher among people who face lot of hate and cultural and disapproval. If we treated people with green eyes with such disdain, they would have a higher suicide rate too. Gay people have more challenges living in a hetero-dominated society, regardless of increasing tolerance. And disease? Unprotected sex and sharing IV's is dangerous for anyone.
