Speaking at an interaction, vice chairman of UCPN (Maoist) Narayan Kazi
Shrestha 'Prakash' explicitly stated that his party would go for a 'peaceful'
and decisive Jana Andolan if consensus was not reached between his party and
the NC and UML. At the same program, NC leader and Energy minister Prakash
Sharan Mahat dismissed the Maoist protest programmes saying all that the
Maoists want to do is form a government according to their terms.
