vizio tv problem Video

My Vizio Hd Tv has been causing me problems. I called tech support and i tried unplugging the tv all the way down to disconnecting the cable box, surround sound, dvd player and game systems. In this video it is just the cable signal hooked directly into the tv. No HDMI cables involved. No matter what the set up is, this tv still does this.

baboojackal: Are all the other things on the same power line firmly plugged in? Try making sure all the plugs don't wiggle in the socket (maybe bend the top two prongs in a little), check everything else plugged in to the same outlet/power strip, etc. I have the same issues, and I just realized that a *different* plug in the same outlet was loose. Fixed that, and it seems to be working...

SpiderLuke: i even had a guy from vizio come and replace all the parts inside of it. Still did the same thing, so they sent me a new tv. So far so good. (knock on wood)

IEATPICKLES62: how much did it cost to fix/ repair it? i have the same problem with mine. does ur video just go out and you cant see anything? thats waht mine does.

SpiderLuke: Nothing at all. I forget if the warranty is a year or two, but I was still under warranty, so they tried fixing it and then replace it for free because it still did it. If you're still under warranty it should be free yo.

IEATPICKLES62: lol. i tried calling once and they said that to fix it would cost close to the price that we paid for the tv. i didnt do anything else, because i didnt have any time to troubleshoot or ask for a repair or anything. ill try calling again probably just to see tho. hopefully it will be free or something... O_o

IMCrazyQuick: That's not good... But in my opinion SONY is even worse. I'll never buy another SONY product... EVER! When I go into a store I don't even look at SONY because every thing I've ever bought with the name SONY has died shortly after the warranty runs out. I just sent a $1500 SONY TV to GoodWill along with the ICs to fix it. I fixed it once and it lasted a year and got so mad I decided to pitch it this time. I have a closet full of dead SONY Crap. I think SONY SUCKS too. They are all made in Mexico
