Health Care Bill has PASSED!!! Video
Tonight "(Saturday November 7, 2009)" marks yet another historic milestone in American history & politics! The long awaited & quite frankly long over due health care bill has finally PASSED!!!!
This vote that the American people approved in congress will no doubt stir alot of anger controversy and fear in many people. The vocal people that were "(and still are)" voicing there concern are elderly people who are terrified because not long ago the insurance company plants that went to the so called "town hall & tea bag meetings" stirred up irrational fears in the elderly by making outragious statements that this bill will give doctors the right to decide when it is time for them to die.
The other people that were overtly & vocaly against this bill are conservatives,representatives & senators who were voicing thier concerns NOT out of the goodness of thier hearts or any lagitimate fear or concern "as they would have you believe" but merely out of concern that if this bill ever got passed it would directly or indirectly affect the additional income they recieve from big Insurance companies they work with,represent or helped start! These so called "concerned polititians" get substantial contributions & kick backs from these insurance comapnies they represent but hopefully all that is about to change dramatically not only for the seriously ill people in dire need of expensive medicine but also for the over burdened American Tax Payer!
In all fairness I don't believe this is a perfect solution to our healthcare problems but I DO believe it is a good place to start! We have to start some where and this bill passing is the best place to start. Improvements will be made as time goes on.

DrHarryDickman: Haha on the elderly impression! This shouldn't be about parties; although, that is the biggest problem in American politics. There should be at least a half a dozen recognized parties, like all those Western European countries, even if two or three have the majority. A lot of the videos for hr 3962 show how much paper the bill takes up but don't really explain it.

darthsideous1968: I hear & see what people have commented on and I totally understand that this is a hot button topic! This is NOT a small issue by any means, But like I said in an annotation at the end of the video, This bill that was passed "DEMOCRATCALLY" last night will either be a HUGE success for this country or an equally HUGE disaster for this country & the American people.
darthsideous1968: It also might be fair to give it a chance to actually see if this will work instead of condeming it & the president for being a socialist or a communist. I still believe that the American people "as a whole" are NOT stupid and they will not sit back and let something that is destructive & dammaging ruin this country, So if this turns out to be a disaster the American people WILL act collectively & politically to correct the problem quickly. darthsideous1968: If your statement that "It is not going to benefit me" is reffering to the fact that taxes WILL indeed go up then so be it! In Canada & other civilised nations where they have had a fully functioning national healthcare system in place for ages they pay anywhere between 13% to 16% or higher in taxes to support the healthcare system and there nation. and ya know what.....It has worked for them for ages so how come it can't work for us? Your argument is irrelivant.
darthsideous1968: And it's not just Canada either, It's other civilized countries & technologically advanced nations like England,Sweeden,Holland,Norway and most of Europe in general that has a fully functioning healthcare system that has been running for ages. It's not perfect but the most important thing is it works. So how come it can't work for the United States? The insurance companies have people by the BALLLS financially and they have for decades, Now all that is to some degree is about to change.
darthsideous1968: Change is a good thing, especially for those poor souls that are paying outragious amounts of money to the insurance companies "(and will be paying them for decades)" because the cost of thier care is crippling. Now if your one of those people that have fallen into a sedintary lifestyle by living off the state "(and my tax dollars)" then this may get you to get off your ass and get a part time or full time job. If you can't for health reasons then this bill will deffinately benefit you.

Perhaps It was abit to premature to make a congradulatory video about the passing of a bill that might not make it out of the Senate! Besides that, This bill may NOT be the best bill for health care over haul? We shall see.

darthsideous1968: I will take you up on that suggestion! I have it right here in front of me and I will just light up this joint then quickly read threw alllllllll 3 zillion pages of it! I should be done in about ohhhhhhh Ide say a week if I read threw it non stop, But because I will be stoned out of my mind I may trick myself into thinking I got done reading it in a fraction of the time it would take me to read it if I was not stoned. catfacecathead: Even if it doesn't pass through Senate, and even if it is not a perfect bill, it is still an important symbol in the ongoing battle to provide some level of support to our own citizens. Our health care (and death penalty) stances are obsolete and barbaric.

Otherwise other civilized countries & Nations like sweeden,Holland,England,Canada,Norway,France,Denmark,Finland and countless others have a healthcare National Health care system that seems to work VERY well for them & it has worked for ages without much issue or serious problems.....So why can't we have the same????
