This is the mission "No Russian" in which you take place as an undercover agent who has to earn the enemies trust. This missions beginning was deemed controversial and has now been given the option to skip once you install the game and once you begin the mission. This is only the most controversial scene of the level but is by no means the end.

seproma: It's cool because it's not real... killing hundreds of innocent civilians in a virtual world is far more preferable to doing it in the real world! I don't know about you, but once I've killed hundreds of enemies/aliens/innocents in a game I feel far less stressed. It's escapism.

OmegaWeaponX25: Holy shit, this is amazing. I have heard about this scene and i really doubt that it would have any effect on me... But i'm having a strange feeling. Like having witnessed the true essence of war hell. I can't wait to try this scene myself. Just by seeing it, i can already tell that's a very powerful scene. I'm truly impressed. Maybe CoD MW2 indeed is a masterpiece unlike my expectations.

OmegaWeaponX25: What is cool about it is how unexpected and brutal it is! I was shocked to find such a scene in a videogame but positively so. I know its just a videogame so there is no reason to remorse though i still love it when games finally manage to give me a feeling of what i'm doing is wrong. And when i game finally manages that, its very cool.
