Advanced Kettlebell Exercise -- Greg's Clean and Press Video

http://UndergroundGym.com
Today I wanted to share with you a new kettlebell movement that I have developed in order to transform a standard Long Cycle Clean & Press (like it wasnt hard enough!) into more of a multiplane and dynamic exercises and to make it more specific to fighting. Selfishly enough, I have named it Gregs Clean & Press or sometimes I refer to it as Rotational Split Clean & Press.

Gregs Clean & Press will make you huff and puff like there is no tomorrow, will put you into a great shape and condition you from head to toe (literally). But most importantly, it will make you a better athlete in the process, improve your coordination, teach you to move in multiple planes simultaneously, and develop a strong pivot and weight transfer. I also think that it will have a great carryover to your punching ability. Plus it is fun to do!

Today I'm sharing with you the basic version of this movement and in the future I will show you some more advanced variations.

There are many ways you can implement Greg's Clean & Press into your training practice. For instance, you could integrate it into your martial arts practice and perform a set of 5-10 reps per side in between rounds of bag or partner work. Or you could practice it during a conditioning workout. I like to superset it with Clapping Pull Ups for a total body power blast. You could even perform Greg's Clean & Press as a stand alone exercise, for example density style -- like try doing as many sets of five reps per side for 10, 15 or 20 minutes. In other words, your options are limitless, just like with any other movement.
