She was on a breathing machine for awhile, but had since been able to be taken off of it. Her heart was back on track, and nothing was injured badly. Her mom had relaxed and taken a seat next to her and started watching TV, just waiting for her to wake up now. Jen was just fine now, she was just asleep. It wasnt long before someone knocked on the door.
Rachel: Come in
Joe: (slowly stepping through the door and smiling at her mom) Hey
Rachel: Hey Joe, you heard huh?
Joe: Ya, it scared me, she's ok right?
Rachel: Ya she's fine. She's just catching up on some sleep right now
Joe: (smiling) Good, im glad she's alright
Rachel: I dont know what happend though, she got home and just, passed out. The doctors figure it was an overexsposure to heat for too long, but I dont know
Joe: Ya it is pretty hot outside today, she probably just got dehydrated
Rachel: Well it wouldnt be the first time, she'st just never passed out and quit breathing and not respond to us, so it scared us there
Joe: I bet
Rachel: Well uh, I'll let you sit in here with her for awhile, if you want
Joe: Ya, I'd like that
Rachel: I need make a few errands if you dont mind, would you watch over for awhile?
Joe: Gladly
Rachel: Thank you Joe (walking out of Jen's room)
Joe: (sitting in the chair that Jen's mom had been in and looking over at Jen) You little dare devil, dont scare me like that again
Jen: (moving alittle, hearing his voice)
Joe: (moving her hair out of her eyes, smiling) Jen, wake up
Jen: (hearing him again and moving some more)
Joe: (putting his hand in hers, slowly rubbing his thumb across her hand)
Jen: (taking in a deep breath and opening her eyes, seeing Joe beside her, blinking a few times) Joe?
Joe: Ya, its me
Jen: What are you doing here? (looking around) Where am I?
Joe: You're in the hospital, you passed out
Jen: I passed out?
Joe: (nodding his head yes)
Jen: No wonder I have a headache
Joe: Haha, please dont scare me like that again
Jen: I scared you?
Joe: Ya, I thought I lost you when Natasha called me and said you were in the hospital
Jen: Im sorry
Joe: Its ok, you're alright so, Im grateful you're ok (kissing her forehead)
Jen: (feeling herself smile)
Joe: Did you run home when you left me?
Jen: Huh? Oh (remembering that she'd broken up with him) ya, I went home
Joe: Well I went to Becca's house and gave her a good piece of my mind
Jen: You mean, in a, bad way?
Joe: Well, not to me, but to others yes, I pretty much yelled at her for making you leave me because she didnt know how to get over me
Jen: You got mad at Becca? How, you, you love her
Joe: Not at the moment. Besides I never loved her like I love you, Jen you've gotta believe me. I love you just as much as you love me. Maybe more
Jen: (smiling) I know you do
Joe: Then why break up with me?
Jen: I dont know, I just felt like it was right, but then I regretted it the minute I said it
Joe: Then we dont belong apart from each other. We belong together
Jen: Yes we do. So, can I have you back?
Joe: Im yours (leaning in and kissing her)
Jen: (sliding her arms around his neck and hugging him as he kissed her)
Joe: (kissing her harder and sliding his arms around her, supporting himself against her)
Jen: (smiling into the kiss and messing with his hair)
Joe: (smiling back and touching his forehead on hers)
Nick: Are we interuppting??
Natasha: (giggling) Ooo, whats going on in here hmmm??? (giggling)
Joe/Jen: (quickly ending their make out session and turning to see Nick and Natasha in the doorway)
Nick: Geez Joe, making out in a hospital?? Whats next? Making out in a resturant?
Joe: Hey, I'll do it where I want to
Nick: Mm hmm, we know
Jen/Natasha: (giggling)
Joe: Ha ha, funny
Nick: (pulling on his collar) I know, I am
