David Irving: Nick Griffin is like Nazi propagandist, Julius Streicher Video
Holocaust denier David Irving compares Julius Streicher to Nick Griffin. Streicher was editor of Der Stürmer, the most virulently anti-semitic Nazi newspaper from 1923 until 1945 - Hitler's favourite weekly read - praised here by Irving as 'very clever...the quality of the draughtsmanship of the cartoons was spectacular... anti-semitic postcards... viciously drawn, excellent draughtsmanship and this was the quality of Der Stürmer.' He describes some of the grotesque cartoons in a suitably grotesque fashion.
Referring to Julius Streicher, who was hanged at Nuremberg in 1946 for his war crimes - inciting racial hatred against Jews - Irving calls him 'poor Julius.' Finally, he compares Streicher's fate to that of Nick Griffin, who only received a two year suspended sentence in 1998 for the identical crime: inciting racial hatred against Jews in an anti-Semitic magazine. Griffin's anti-Semitic articles and cartoons appeared in a BNP title, the Rune.
2DRonaldo: So Griffin would have been hanged at Nuremberg. Doesn't Griffin feel lucky? lol
