Cade57: I do not have access to the original paper the National Audubon Society's report states that "They will fly south to winter with the help of their parents.[19]". The fish do it by taste, the specific rivers they go back to will have a different ion balance. Some animals have a magnetic sense, such as birds, they then use this to help them find home. Others use the stars to help them navigate, others such land marks and have been seen to follow roads.

QAndyRa: How about the kangaroo, when its born it wrigles into its mums pouch, how did it know where to go.

Cade57: Instinct, this may be what you think is gods programing, but again this is an argument from lack of knowledge. The best answer I could find was "its mother prepares a path for it from the birth canal to the pouch by licking her fur so it lies flat and in the direction the joey must travel." Instinct can be hardwired into the brain and is again most rationally explained using natural, non magic means.

QAndyRa: Creation is not MAJIC, to think that this universe was self made and self existing is not possible, its by Gods hand that all is in place perfectly. The problem is with man, we have become proud and do not give God the credit, I tell you this, one day soon God is going to judge this planet like never before, go read what happened to pharoah, this planet is going to be judged just like that, because we have forgotten God.

Cade57: One defination of magic is "the art of producing a desired effect or result through the use of incantation or various other techniques". You say god just created the universe, i.e: Abra cadabra and poof there was the universe. This is magic! The beauty of science is not that it lies in the pride of mankind but that it shows us that we are not the centre of the universe. It teaches us to be humble and know that we are on a small planet, orbiting an average sun, in an average galaxy.

QAndyRa: To us it would be majic, but to God who can do all things its qiute natural, but what other system could have made energy and matter? Theres not one natural system universal that we can say for sure made matter and energy, yes we need to find answers to the question but to me we have already been given the answer. Thanks...

Cade57: The search for knowledge begins with 'I don't know'. This is how science works, if we find something we don't understand people research it, publish papers and get peer reviewed. You admit we need to find answers, yet you then say that god did it? The best evidence we have for the start of the universe is the the big bang, it explains red shifted light from distant stars, the microwave radiation and its non-uniform nature. God explains nothing, it is a block to progress.

QAndyRa: Saying God did it could be a block to progress, but I think we have been given brains and we need to ues them to the max. I don't think we will ever find the answer to the origin question, it a bit like where does space begin and end, its a question we have not got the answer to, for me personaly I am content to say God did it, as the Bible say's God stretches out the heavens, this to would give us distant objects and red shift/dopler effect.

Cade57: I agree with your comment that we need to use our brains to the max, however this generally means we cannot restrain them with untestable garbage. Of all the thing you have said that you thought disproved evolution none of the held up. If you are going to right that book of yours you better get more knowledgeable about it. Quoting from the bible does not prove you argument, I could fill pages on youtube about the inaccuracies in the bible, but then this would be a very different debate.

Cade57: I did say that this isn't what we have been debating, but as you want to go in that direction here are a couple of inaccuracies that I plucked from a website. God makes two lights: "the greater light [the sun] to rule the day, and the lesser light [the moon] to rule the night: --- the moon is not a light. In Genesis 1 the entire creation takes 6 days --- but new stars constantly being formed After making the animals, God has Adam name them all. --- must have taken him a while

Cade57: God curses the serpent. From now on the serpent will crawl on his belly and eat dust --- if a snake wasn't crawling before it was what, walking? Snakes also do not eat dust. All of the animals boarded the ark "in the selfsame day --- how would animals have got from south America etc to the middle east? Noah kills the "clean beasts" and burns their dead bodies for God -- he only took two of some species, so this would have caused extinction - so why save them ?

QAndyRa: The moon is a reflection of the greater light, but the moon does give its light this way. We can not see stars being born, this has not been observed, we do see clouds off gas shifting to reveal a star behind it, but this is some times confused, and taken as a star birth, Adam lived to be over 800, he named all the animals probably with the help of angels?

QAndyRa: The serpent is an image of the devil, this is not to be taken litirally, God was depicting satan as a crafty serpent. The earth 6000 yrs ago was one land mass, and there is evidence to back this up. Thge clean beasts were a sacrifice to God, animals were being bred in the ark, as they were in there for 1 year, plenty of time to have more animals.

Cade57: Light reflects of my face, this does not make it a light. I am not an expert on astronomy so I would send you to other youtubers such as Thunderfoot. The only reference you seem to be using is the Bible, and probably only one version of one type. You have not used any other religious texts never mind any scientific sources. Adam lived to 800, god did it, god stretched the universe like a curtain - all biblical references, none of this is testable and so doesn't help you in this debate.

Cade57: Right - if this isn't to be taken literately then what is in the bible? From the 5 minutes I spent looking the evidence seems to suggest 40 million years ago for the Earth as we would recognise now. What is your evidence?

Cade57: With the continents spreading apart one of the key way to date them is the new ocean created, this ocean can be dated: Age striping of the ocean floors.
