Zac Efron Update: New Movies & Nylon Magazine Cover Video

He's the actor we fell in love with when he played Troy in High School Musical, and now he's getting ready for another film debut. We've got your Zac Efron update up next.

Hey guys-I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV coming to you from our studio in the heart of Beverly Hills.

Zac Efron has been noticeably absent from the Hollywood scene over the last few months, and that's probably because he's been busy working yet another big film project in Vancouver. That project is a movie called "The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud." Zac plays Charlie, a young man who is overwhelmed with sadness when his younger brother dies. In order to maintain his relationship with his brother, Zac's character Charlie gets a job at the cemetery where his bro is buried. The catch is that Charlie can actually still see his dead brother. But when a girl comes into the picture, Charlie has to make a decision between his brother and a newfound love. This film is slated for release next year.

But before then, Zac has several other projects in the pipeline. First up is his super hot Nylon Guys Magazine cover. The pictures are fabulous and in the article Efron dishes about how weird it's been to see his face on lunch boxes across America AND how he, unlike lots of other young actors, won't just do a record for the money. He also admits to the fact that during his first screening of his upcoming flick "Me and Orson Welles," he didn't check his watch once---which was a first for him. The Nylon cover is out right now.

And of course the highly anticipated "Me and Orson Welles" will be out right around Thanksgiving....the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. Zac stars alongside a seriously beautiful and talented actress --Claire Daines.

And we're betting that now that Zac's back in LA, he's missing his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, who is still in Vancouver shooting her new film project "Sucker Punch." These two have been together for several years and are still going strong...maybe we'll see wedding bells in the near future!
