Squirrel Eating Walnuts on my back porch Video

This squirrel has been hanging around my house for a long time now, she loves whole foods walnuts. She waits on the rail until someone opens the door and gives her some. She also likes to eat saltine crackers too.

AreWildZ28: One smart squirrel! I used to have one that I fed from my fingers..but I did wear gloves just in case! I caught a glimpse of the Celebrity.. ^_^ Why did you remove your comment? It was a good one..

Fred924: I left a sentence out so I tried reposting it again but youtube is being stupid and the comment wasn't going through. I just replaced the fuel regulator in the celebrity, I'll make a video of it this week.

valleyfever: That is so cool! We used to have one that would visit just like that. I couldn't pet it or anything, but it would eat right out of my hand. Adorable creature!

Fred924: Yeah, petting them is a bad idea. As adorable as they may be they are still wild animals. Also a lot of wild squirrels have fleas and stuff. I know this one does, she's always scratching at herself.

valleyfever: Do you think one could be hand-raised and domesticated? I've heard of people doing that with raccoons, but never a squirrel. It would be kinda cool to rave one running around the house! lol

Fred924: Its possible, if you can find one when they are really really young. In the summer of 2005, we found a baby raccoon and we kept her until she was ready to go off on her own. She lived in the outdoor iguana cage that can be seen in some of my videos.
