Chessworld.net presents: Peter Svidler Vs. Vladimir Malakhov, 2009 - part 2 Video
The conclusion of the game
jsplayer18: I love games with knight promotes to win the game
yakov53: Bobby Fischer!!
JeremyNasmith: Vladimir Malakhov must be a very popular name in Russia. I already knew the famous ballet dancer (Now director of Berlin State Opera Ballet, before that, principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, Stuttgart Ballet, and the Bolshoi Ballet) of the same name, and I thought there was a hockey player as well, so I wiki-ed the name, and it listed all three, chess, ballet, hockey, and there's a soccer player as well! Seems like being a high-achiever comes with the territory!
JeremyNasmith: And I should vote: Much as I love Fischer's games, (and I hope you do that series as well!) but first, I'd love to see you tackle the endgame in some depth! Great vid as usual, Sean, thanks!
Zyrog: i found the mate :)
gillesva51: very nice game! gogo endgames ^^
sk1zz0t: Fischer
TmTRaxo: I've already ordered Fischer's book so I'll study that myself, so I'll vote for an endgame strategy series, that would be very helpful (and prolly informative as all your vids). Anyway, great vids Sean, keep 'em coming :)
newtonat0r: Bobby Fischer games please
MrFedel: Endings.
jeteman: 3:10 Why not Bxf7?
Guff1e: The white king is in check by the knight at e1
Guff1e: Thx SeanGGodley for the video. I vote endgames
l3xrun: QxF6!, and underpromoting to a knight, beautiful complex game. I would enjoy you going over the Fischer games, even though a fair few people already have, but i think i'm at the point where i really should improve my endgame technique, so i'm going to have to vote for endgame. Looking forward to more videos, regardless of which option wins
nagoya4: impressive finish nice chosen game cant wait for fischer ofc
tuoljg: bobby fischer has my vote
Myleanne14: interesting game! do you know which country the world championship match is held with topalov v anand? (1 question. did anand not beat topalov last year and makes this therefore a rematch?)
xclosertotheheartx: nice video. for me, fisher's games have to be done now...
donkinn: go endgames may be thanks
nikiss8: Fischer is a great player and has lots of interesting games, but has been done lots of times. I'd be half watching your videos and half watching links on the side... How about you make few vids about Paul Morphy and tactics? There was some talk about some Asian player and quick Qh5 etc.
Liguzh: malakhov didnt even use his rook nor the knight in the queen's side uhmmm i will vote for any bobby fisher game or capablanca
111Socrates777: Fischer please
fatesofgreedom: Answer to Myleanne14: If I am not mistaken, the World Championship between Topalov and Anand will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria. No, Anand played against Vladimir Kramnik of Russia last year...not Topalov. PS: It was in Bonn, Germany last year.
SeanGGodley: Hiya - I think it is being played in Bulgaria, Topalov's home country; certainly an advantage. I'm not 100% sure though. It was Kramnik who Anand beat last year; he totally smashed him and he's one of the hardest players in the world to beat, it was hard to believe!
Kaprije1: i hope you will do some end games after Fisher games since they won obviously
