Chopin piano sonata no. 1 in c minor, movement 4 Video
Chopin is believed to have composed his first piano sonata in 1828, when the composer was 18 and studying with Józef Elsner. It is one of chopin's least appreciated works, and certainly the least "famous" of his piano soantas, with some critics addressing the work as Chopin's least creative work.
The music comprises of four movements, the first being an allergro in "sonata form" (which is technically more demanding than the rest of the work), the second being a menuetto, then an adagio followed by a presto for the finale.

darko264: old piano.
uhartchristian: this interpretation is really top. difficult to make it better. very much in the spirit of chopin. although its not a great composition the genius of chopin comes through with this interpretation
hothairybtm4u: a slightly different perspective: actually this movement is a work of genius when one considers that the composer has managed to melodically wed the schubert wanderer fantasie (opening of the 1st movement & 2nd them to the slow movement of same) to beethoven of the opus 10 and opus 27 period, along with chopin himself. ;-)
