During the 2008 presidential campaign, EVERYONE, from the left and right, were making "healthcare reform" an issue of debate. Probably what he is talking about is that he once saw a quadriplegic pushed up front in a town hall meeting. This is not uncommon since they cannot easily sit in chairs or find space for their chairs. But what is disturbing is that the sight of a quadriplegic is so memorable and insulting to DeLay that he brings it up.

loki3692: The republican governor of Hawaii said that they have looked into it and he was born in Hawaii and that the paper work Obama has on his web page is what all Hawaiians get so noting he can say or do will ever satisfy the birthers, because it's not about where he was born but what color he was born.

pokermaster54: ummm... he was mentioning quadriplegic in reference to the so called death panels. They played the same trick in the past and scared the public into thinking that disabled people like quadriplegic would become abandoned to the wayside if the health care system was reformed. You can disagree with DeLay all you want but at least get his story straight. His point is that the elderly and the disabled are being used to instill fear into people that health care will "kill" them. It's ridiculous.
