-Asia's POV-
"Hello, Ms. Asia MacKay?"
"This is she," I answered.
"Yes, this is Sarah from IGM Models. I am calling to inform you that IGM would love to have you as one of their models. All we need to know is if you accept."
I kept in my excitement. "Of course."
"Okay, then. Your first meeting will be on Tuesday at 3. Is that a good day for you?"
"Yes, it is," I said.
"We will see you then."
I hung up and squealed.
"What? Who was it?" Stella asked.
"IGM! Stella, I'm an IGM MODEL!!!" I squealed.
She screamed as well and we got up and started jumping up and down and running around the room. When we finally got settled, I sat down again.
"You know what that means, right?" I asked.
"Jonas Brothers World Tour!" she squealed.
I smiled too, and by 5, we had a schedule that was FULLY synchronized with the tour. Well, it wasn't FULLY synchronized, but it was more than compatible. Fashion Week threw us off JUST A LITTLE, but other than that, I was quite satisfied with our work. After we had double-checked it as much as possible, I sent it to IGM and requested it as the one I used. I also made it clear that I was only slightly flexible with changes. After that I looked at Stella.
"Stella, I have a proposition for you."
She looked up and tilted her head a bit. She always did that when she was intrigued about something.
"You've held a position here as a secretary for a while now...and honestly, you are doing way more than your job description. And Im grateful for it. But now, I think I can put you on the next level. What would you think if I made you...like, my all time personal assistant?"
Her mouth opened slightly and I continued. "I mean, you still function as secretary here, but you will be my personal assistant as well. You basically do just about everything that an assistant would do, and you can live at my house at no cost at all. And if you don't wanna live IN the house, I've got a MASSIVE guesthouse right there as well. And you get paid more. You don't have to answer now, but it's something to think about."
She stared at me blankly and then smiled. "Of course I'd do it. That's nothing to think about. I...wow. Yes!"
"Awesome! Well, you know, you can move in whenever you want."
"Thanks, Asia," she said happily. "Maybe later this week."
"Cool. So...I have an photo session with Seventeen at noon on Tuesday and I got a meeting with IGM at three on the same day. Okay. Schedule those. And we have to meet up with those boys before they leave. And...no word about the tour, right?"
She nodded and continued writing in her pad. We worked on the final papers so I could officially leave NY and move on to IGM. After that, we cleared everything and closed up for the day. I was left with an empty afternoon, so I spent it with Joelle. We went out for dinner and caught a movie. I actually went to bed early.
The next morning, I got a phone call at 5:30 in the morning. It was dark. This was an issue. I picked up the phone and mumured a hello.
"Wow, you're really out of it," I heard a male vioce say. "Wake up."
"What? Who is this?" I asked.
"It's your partner in crime. Kevin, of course."
"Ugh, what do you want?"
"Get up and get dressed. You've got like, 15 minutes. Don't try to impress. Just...put on something, okay?"
"You're KILLING me. Come ON, dude."
"I'll see you in fifteen." And then he hung up.
I sighed and slowly rolled out of bed. I washed up and put on a pair of skinny jeans and a band tee. As soon as I finished brushing through my hair the doorbell rang. I opened the door to a smiling Kevin.
"Rise and-whoa. Are...you okay?"
"You only gave me fifteen minutes to get ready. I have on absolutely no makeup, and I'm tired. Now, why am I up so early?"
"Just get in the car," he said, and opened the car door for me. We drove for about five minutes and we got to this skyscraper and he looked at his watch. "Oh, we're a tad late. Come on."
