I mainly talk on how Breaking Point, Hell In A Cell, Extreme Rules, Night Of Champions, and other gimmick PPV's from the WWE have failed in recent years.

RatedRMizfit: I agree completely, I was going to put a video up on this topic but it sucked due to me being severly `brian kendrick`d``. The idea of gimmick ppv`s are appealing but the execution is lack-luster.

Y2AFW: Thanks for promoting me. I wouldn't say it was "months" ago. And yeah I guess I do do the roh reviews late, but better late then never, and I always have stuff going on so I try to do the main shows hopefully I can get some lesser ones in

LV5454: I think its kind of unfair to say the gimmick ppvs has failed although i have stated that they need to have less matches like 5 or 6 to give the gimmick matches time. I just call it a working progress for right now. Just my take on it

englishCAWwrestling: breaking point has been removed from the wwe calender so has judgment day, night of champions have been moved to september and the july ppv has not been named so that might b the wargames ppv

MXLDisturbed: I think most of the gimmick PPVs fail, because of lack of build-up, too many matches on the card (Thus not giving the matches enough time) and gimmick matches being overdone.

thatsmrdouglas2u: I agree, the gimmick PPV's have failed because there are too many of them. WWE needs to go back to the traditional PPV format: Royal Rumble (winner gets title shot at 'Mania) Wrestlemania, King of the Ring (tourney winner should get title shot at Summerslam), Summerslam, and the Survivor Series. They could throw in a gimmick PPV in the spring and winter also, making the total PPV's per year seven. They also need to focus on storytelling and letting angle sdevelop over time to build interest.

thatsmrdouglas2u: If TNA had more gimmick PPV's what would all the WWE apologists say? If they were successful they would say that TNA was just trying to copy the WWE product. If they failed they would claim that the TNA product is just inferior to WWE. TNA can't win for losing sometimes.

Re4wii2008: yo noc 2008 and one night stand 2008 rocked extreme rules this year i think was alright from videos from youtube cuz I didn't order it but cyber sunday had one of wwe worst ppv buyrates each year so it was probably a good idea for wwe to refresh it abit. I just hope wwe tlc will be amazing

RatedRMizfit: Breaking Point has already been canned. NOC is in september this year. Also, I believe WWE is cutting the number of ppv`s to 13 next year and making them like 5 bucks more expensive.
