coast to coast influence of the druids part 3 12 Video

12th december 2007
Appearing during the first three hours, alternative historian Michael Tsarion discussed his latest work on the Irish origins of civilization including the influence of the Druids on language and religion.

He talked about how the ancient peoples of Ireland and England traveled freely to Europe via land bridges, such as one that existed between Britain and Scandinavia. As a result, the influence of early man spread from that region in a "West to East" pattern. The similarities between monuments found throughout Europe is due to this migration, according to Tsarion.

He asserted that the destruction of these people, known as Druids, served to minimize their wide-reaching historical influence. Their legacy, however, can be seen in symbolism found in modern times, appropriated into many works, including architecture.
