Chapter 1 ~ Verse 3 Challenge

** WILL CONTAIN FULL SPOILERS!! **

Before you go up the elevator in Chapter 1 (after Verse 2), go back to the location where you find the key (before Verse 1). From there, you can enter a portal to do this challenge.

Took me one or two attempts to figure out how to easily pull it off.

Trying to beat them just using Witch Time won't work since you deal too little damage (especially in a new game).

What you must do is quickly build up your magic to use your Torture Attack to kill an Angel. That way you can steal their weapon and use it against them for easy win.

OR... you can just play on and replay this chapter later when you are overpowered.

Also the green circles are the amounts of hits you can take before you fail the challenge. So five hits and you'll fail!

AMAZING GAME! For those who can't import it, buy it when it comes out here in January!

PS - Hope this video won't be taken down, if so.. darn.

PPS - I decided to only record Events, Bosses and "Special" type videos. I don't feel like encoding a 10 minute exploring the dungeon with no action... too much trouble and boring.

jp2605: did anyone notice that the wiotch that i forgot the name uses atacks that consume HAIR? and the her colthes are made of hair, so the more atacks the less hair,and the less clothes. also does anyone know if this game has the same feature on a 360? i mean when its on US will it be translated to other languages besides english?

Kunai20: Generally yes specifically, Devil May Cry 1 apparently. others had were done by different ppl but i think it was all in the same company

wolfos: Thanks. Considering i love this style of game (DMC/Ninja Gaiden fan and the likes). This looks like a return to the old days when daftness was allowed in games. I kinda miss the days of DMC3 :( *sigh* ....Not what it used to be. :) Il wait.

Marceles45: I beat this a couple of days ago, the final stages and music are epic. The gameplay also reminds me of Viewtiful Joe

originalsin1990: The reason the enemies are angels is because you don't see many angel monsters in games. AKA breaking some mold since plain old demons are getting to be of tired design. Or is this just A reason.

wolfos: Mostly a reason. The creator said what i put when he did a interview over devil may cry so im guessing the same is true here. It would make sense considering he's ALWAYS followed the idea of "Angles are bad guys". :)
