kainedamo: When you consider the bias and fraud of the other networks? Come on! Now I'm not saying the other networks don't have their issues. They do. But Fox news is the only network that pushes a viewpoint 24/7.

haypenny: Fox's Opinion shows push a view, but have regular debate w/ opposing views. You won't see Olbermann debating a Conservative. Fox also has the best conservative to liberal ratio. PEW found Fox to be most balanced. Recently, we've seen many instances of false reports, lack of source checking, & bias in the MSM, including the constant defamation of Fox. People should get their news from ALL sources to get balance; it is highly suspect that our own gov't regularly attacks all who criticize them.

kainedamo: Until recently, Obama and his administration have been incredibly patient with Fox News. Fox have pushed stories including, claims that Obama went to a Muslim Medrassa, claims that his brother says he was born outside the US, claims that his wife was on video using the word "whitey", etc etc etc. You only have to use your eyes and ears to see how unbalanced Fox is, and if PEW found them to be the most balanced, then what's going on there? Gov't has a right to defend itself from criticism.

Honey, it's none of the gov't's business what Fox or any Network chooses to say or editorialize.They've a right to disagree and do their own criticizing of course, but that's not what they're doing.They're attempting to marginalize them. Those reports you mentioned - Did you get them from the News Reports or the Opinion Shows? Do you note the difference? Did u see them yourself? When gov't says 'don't listen to this, don't watch that' - does it not make bells go off in your head?

kainedamo: Disagreeing with and criticizing with Fox is exactly what Obama's team have been doing - and nothing more. The reports I mentioned - they were on the news reports AND the opinion shows. With Fox, there is little difference between the two. I saw them for myself at the time and I was shocked. Where is the gov't telling people to not watch Fox? The gov't is simply calling a spade a spade. Fox is simply an entertainment channel, pushing an opinion, 24/7.

haypenny: I've never seen the reports you mentioned. The admin hasn't said,"Fox is wrong, and here's why". They're saying 'Fox is not a real network'. If u haven't noticed the biased reporting of the MSM, then you're not looking at all the networks. It is a preposterous notion that the MSM are without left wing bias.The left cannot tolerate diversity of thought. But if u want an opposing view, you don't have to go to Fox. But I strongly recommend you seek for yourself both sides from many varied sources.

kainedamo: Nobody is saying that the other networks don't have a bias. It's about Fox being a 24/7 GOP talking point station. No other network is anything like that.

haypenny: That is simply not true, and only designed to keep independents and young people from tuning in to a network that reports stories unflattering to this administration, which has been compared to Nixon's [by liberals too]. The MSM even apologized for being 'in the tank' during the election. Fox has straight news and opinion shows, just like everyone else. It's just that Fox's opinion shows aren't to the left like others, that's all. And all of 'em have the right to set their own formats.

kainedamo: But its not just the opinion shows on Fox, its their news anchors aswell.

haypenny: Honey, I strongly believe that you're getting your information and arguments from only sources on the left - because it's not true. For example, Google: "Campaign: Michelle Obama never used word 'Whitey'" [on Fox News' site]. All things in politics get smeared. It's been that way for many decades, and I've lived through more than a few Presidents to see it. Take Care, kain. Keep debating, and please trust no one in power, left or right. Always question - always seek both sides.

quizerry: He apoligized because before the interview he told the audience they had interviews with both canidates. The women reporter said they tried mulitple time to get the inview but couldn't. It happens so he apoligized.
