Function held at Tangalle to commemorate D.A. Rajapakse 7-11-09 Video

Today is the 42nd commemoration day of the late D.A. Rajapaksa.
A function was held at the Tangalle Town Hall under the patronage of President Rajapaksa on this occasion. He offered floral tributes to the D.A. Rajapaksa Statue, in the midst of the Tangalle town. First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa, Minister Chamal Rajapaksa, Ministers and other dignitaries were amongst those who offered floral tributes. The commemoration speech was delivered by Dr. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa. The President gave away 200 Sisura scholarships to children. The winners of Inter School Speech contests were also presented with prizes and certificates.
