I watched Nick as he left the room, and something didnt feel right. Normally I go to every Jonas concert. I oppressed the feeling and turned on the TV. They just said that they have a special news item.

Reporter: We have some shocking news. Yesterday evening a very close friend of the Jonas Brothers has been attacked close to the Jonas house here in LA. The offender is still unknown. The victim is still in the hospital, but her condition is not critical. *end of news message*

The only thing I wondered after I watched the news item was how it was possible that they knew it so fast. And Im not even famous, except that Im friends with Nick, Joe and Kevin. Luckily they dont know anything yet about me and Nick. And I hope we can keep it like that. *a nurse comes in*

Nurse: Your friend told me that you needed a new bandage. *she takes the bandage of* It looks good, it is healing pretty fast. But you have to be careful for the next couple of days, that it doesnt infect. *she cleans the wound and puts a new bandage on* It didnt hurt tonight, right?
- No, not at all. But I took a strong painkiller yesterday.
Nurse: Right. I think well give you a less strong painkiller tonight because it seems that you dont need it. *she does a last check and then leaves the room*

Ah, finally some peace for myself. But then again, maybe not. I cant believe it, someone just knocked the freaking door! What should I do: scream go away or act like Im sleeping? But its Kat, as she announces, so I decide to do neither, but just let her enter.
Cora: *calls* Come in, Kat.
Kat: *enters the room* Hey Cora, whats up?
Cora: Nothing, Im just bored out of my mind here.
Kat: I know, Nick asked me to bring a book. I brought The Host.
Cora: Cool. Thanks Kat.
Kat: *sees Coras necklace* Do I see ghosts or are you really wearing a necklace with a heart the letter N?
Cora: *smiles* Maybe.
Kat: Does it come from maybe, I dont know, Nick?
Cora: *smiles wider* You tell me.
Kat: *hugs Cora* Im so happy for you. Let me guess, he asked something else too.
Cora: You bet!
Kat: You said yes, right?
Cora: *fake shocked* Did I have to say yes? *laughs at Kats face* Of course I said yes!
Kat: *laughs too* Of course! So when are you going to celebrate?
Cora: The evening I get out of here. I planned a sleepover with Selena at her place. You and Medina are invited of course, and Demi too.
Kat: Sounds cool. Do I have to bring stuff?
Cora: Yeah, you need to bring some movies that we can watch, and if you speak Medina, she needs to bring some awesome music.
Kat: Ill take care of it. Whats the occasion?
Cora: Well, Ill be out of the hospital, I have to celebrate the end of me being single and Selena needs a break.
Kat: Oh, she told you about Taylor. Yeah, a sleepover will do good to her, she was really upset.
Cora: I know. *sighs* Too bad, they were so cute. Are you going to the concert tonight?
Kat: Yeah, and Medina too. But after the concert well come and say hi with everybody.
Cora: Great. Oh Kat, did you see the news?
Kat: Yup. I have no idea how they knew it this fast. Nick thinks someone tipped them. *gets a thinking look on her face* Maybe it was even the one who attacked you! But then, maybe not. Oh, Cora, Im sorry but I have to go in 5 minutes, my mom is waiting for me with a big pile of dirty laundry.
Cora: Have fun with that. But how did you get here this fast?
Kat: Nick called me 10 minutes ago that you really needed this book.
Cora: *laughs* He just left me like 10 minutes ago.
Kat: Probably he called me immediate when he left the hospital. He really loves you.
Cora: I know, I love him too.
Kat: I can tell that from your lovey-dovey facial expression. Well, I gotta go, the laundry is waiting for me.
Cora: *smiles* Well, thats one of the advantages of having to stay in the hospital.
Kat: *smiles too* I guess so. *kisses Cora on the cheek* Bye girl, see you later.
Cora: Bye Kat. *Kat leaves the room*
