predator10589: its not based off an actual story. i thought it was but if u go on the movies page the director talks about how when he moved to the suburbs hed hear things n he came up w the movie from his exp of books falling. its not really a true story or based off actual events. i wish it was b/c that makes it scary. the director opted to use a cheap camera to give it a realistic feel. smart on his part. but yea its all fake. sorry to ruin it b/c it being fake makes it boring
