jrt88fan: It still is, but not near as much as it has been in the past with less restrictions& no chase, but you think what you want, It's finally sunk in that arguin' on youtube is 100% pointless, impossible to win a youtube argument, so I ain't gonna argue

nascarfanatic2425: Well, I'm not really trying to pick a fight, just saying what I believe. NASCAR overdid it when they threw in the chase, and when they added the extra points for winning a race, plus how everyone made the chase. and how they were seeded. The way I feel, they changed the points system so Jeff Gordon can't exceed 4 titles.

jrt88fan: Ok, sorry I took that the wrong way, I guess it's because I can't hear how you're sayin' anything or the attitude that you have while sayin' it, but yeah, I agree that the Chase was too far, & now that I think about it, I guess that the thing with Gordon could be true, but with how close he came this year, lord know what they'll do next

nascarfanatic2425: Oh don't give me any nightmares! And I also have all the respect in the world for Jr. He's had a tough first two years with HMS, but he's still my 3rd favorite driver, and personally, I think if he didn;t cuss in victory lane at Talladega, or had such bad luck, he probably could've been the '04 champion.

jrt88fan: Yeah I know! He's just a great driver with horrible luck, & if he can ever get a break, I believe a championship ain't too far off for him, I sure hope so

nascarfanatic2425: Me too. You know how great for the sport it would be to see Dale Jr. hoist that Sprint Cup at Homestead? It would be REALLY epic for HMS if they had all 4 of their drivers in the hunt 'til the very end. I think the one thing that killed Mark Martin in the chase was too much bad luck. He did get that lucky break at Texas, but I think Mark was just a little unlucky.

jrt88fan: Seriously! That would be awesome, not to mention a new record set once again by HMS, a 1-2-3-4 finish in the points. And I agree, the main problem Mark had was bad luck, I think he might've been able to beat Johnson if at 'Dega he hadn't been caught up in that crash, I'd like to see him be able to win a 500 & a championship before he retires

nascarfanatic2425: I can guarrantee that there isn't one NASCAR fan who doesn't wish for both of those for Mark Martin. Jeff Gordon's my favorite driver, but if Mark Martin's in the hunt for the w, then dang it I hope he gets it.

jrt88fan: My thoughts exactly, except that Jr's my favorite driver, not Gordon, who by the way ain't near as bad as he used to be as far as whinin' all the time, he's moved up on my list of favorites

nascarfanatic2425: Yeah. As long as I've watched NASCAR, Jeff hasn't had that problem, as far as the ones I watched. I mean, I can believe he had it, but he always did try to race clean. The guy I hate is Kyle Busch. He whines, he wrecks people, and he makes himself look good by winning a championship of a series that he shouldn't even be in. I've always liked Jr. He's my third favorite, behind Jeff and Mark Martin.

jrt88fan: I can't stand Busch either, for the same reasons. And yeah, Gordon always races clean for the most part, he's had his moments like every other driver, but for the most part he's not been a very dirty driver at all

nascarfanatic2425: Exactly. Hopefully 2010 will turn out to be a better season. 2009 honestly wasn't a disaster, just certain moments happen that NASCAR fans don't want to see, but isn't that the same every year?

jrt88fan: Yep, it sure does, every single year, & I agree, 2009 wasn't all that bad, look at the Richmond & the Darlington races, they were great! Not the only ones by the way, just the 1st that popped into my head, I just hope that NASCAR gets rid of the smaller restrictor plates & the no bump-drafting in the corner rule @ 'Dega next year, those were utter failures

nascarfanatic2425: Definetly! Even with them being heavier, I think the new cars are faster plate track cars than the old cars, definetly better bump-drafters, and they could last in the corners. It's bull they had to bring that rule in.

jrt88fan: Absolutely, & that's comin' grom somebody who ain't that big of a fan of the COT. I just about turned that race off until right before Newman's wreck, up until then I was bored outta my skull, that rule just ruined the race

nascarfanatic2425: Yes it did, although, I kept watching, 'cause Jimmie Johnson was way far back, and it looked like Jeff Gordon or Mark Martin could've won it, but then they both wrecked at the end.

nascarfanatic2425: Hey, you know it, bro. Next year, I'm only gonna watch the first 26 races, unless I know for a fact the champion won't be Jimmie Johnson. I mean, I love NASCAR, and I do like Jimmie Johnson, but there's no sense in watching it if it's going to end the same way, every year.

nascarfanatic2425: Yeah, I mean, it really takes some true, true skill to win the title over and over like Jimmie is, but I definetly like the old days better, when the guy who SHOULD be winning the title is. The chase isn't worth watching.
