Pokemon Heart Gold - Rival Battle #2 Video

Status of my team so far: Rattata Lv16, Pidgey Lv16, Bellsprout Lv16, Flaaffy Lv16, Wooper Lv16 and Quilava Lv17

After gaining the Hive Badge, we head off to our next destination but before we do, our Rival who I named Brad (after Brad Barrett from Kamen Rider Dragon Knight) appears and decides to challenge us.

He has three Pokemon; Gastly Lv14, Zubat Lv16 and the third depends on the starter you chose in the being. In this case, he'll have a Lv18 Croconaw. For Gastly, you can use Dark-type moves and Zubat, rely on either Rock or Psychic-type moves. As for the last one depending on what he has, use moves that are weak against them and take 'em down.

After winning, the Rival talks smack and heads off. That's about it.

It was when the first time that one of my comrades went down when it was SO close to taking the opponent down. I felt bad that it happened to Bellsprout but fortunately Pidgey took care of things.
