Thats because the entire Yes on 1 Campaign is built on a lie that same-sex marriage will hurt others. The truth is, this campaign really about not preserving traditional marriage but hurting gay people, because religion and schools will not be affected by same-sex marriage, but if you reject same-sex marriage, your sister, your neighbor, your tax adviser, or your son will be ordered to go to the back of the bus, and we all know that social apartheid is not just wrong, its not the Maine way of fairness. Its time to hold true our ethic of live and let live, and your daughter and your neighborhood fire-fighter deserve the same life, liberty and pursuit of happiness as you. Vote No on 1 to protect all Maine families.

mmhoover1: Do the Yes on 1 folks know how I felt when I saw their Yes on 1 signs along Rt 1 in northern Maine coastal areas as I was traveling along as a gay tourist? I felt like every one of those Yes on 1 signs was a "you are not welcome here" sign. I decided not to spend a dime in any of those areas after visiting Eastport; a town with Yes on 1 signs on residents' lawns. I could not spend a penny there in Eastport because of those signs made me feel unwelcome. I did not spend until I noticed no signs

mmhoover1: the guy's name is Sea/n? Accent over the "a" to make the "aw" sound. I don't have the proper "slanting up to the right" accent mark used in Irish language on my keyboard. For the Irish-language name that means "John" in English language. No accent over "a", then Sean is pronounced as "shan" which means "old" in Irish language. As an Irish language speaker, I always write that name with a "fada" or acent mark over the "a" in his name.
