Continuing right where Halloween
left off, we are left with Laurie Strode
at the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital,
and Dr. Loomis still in persuit of the
inhuman Micheal Myers. After he sneaks
into the hospital and kills most of the staff,
Laurie is left helpless to defend herself.
As Loomis gets closer and closer to finding
his ex-patient, he discovers the horrifying
connection between Micheal and Laurie!

This is the rare alternate cut of
Halloween 2. It's the same story as
the Extended Edition of Halloween,
but there were already scenes to replace the edits. The footage was
deleted by John Carpenter, as he
supposedly came in and directed
a few scenes. I tried to edit this film
as best as I could, as the DVD used
played the theatrical scenes and the
alternate footage back-to-back!

Theshark15z: I think the alternate when Laurie was dreaming of seeing Micheal Myers in the Asylum and begging him not to hurt was should have been kept, instead of her talking to her mother and finding out that she wasn't her real mother.

Theshark15z: I take it that the scene where Karen removes her garmet needed to be censored in order to keep the scene from being deleted from you tube.

manai4: Sorry, but no. Budd is played by Leo Rossi, and Micheal Myers in the 1st movie is played by Nick Castle

Theshark15z: When she sleeping she was dreaming and in her dream she was talking to her Foster mother. She said "Why won't you tell me? Why don't tell me anything?" She says, "I told you, I'm not your mother." Then there is blood dripping in then she wakes like she does with the alternate scene.

Theshark15z: Does anyone know why Micheal myers is credited as "The Shape" and there is another credit for the man under the mask that was pulled off from the 1st movie is "Micheal Myers"?

Cash4Faysh: b/c they were two different guys...i think nick castle played the shape, the michael myers walking around, and when laurie pulled his mask off, the face you saw was of a different guy, played by tony moran. they only used him for that particular shot, that was the only time you saw his face.

Cash4Faysh: i dont know why they used two different guys...maybe nick castle's face was a bit too, not scary? kinda like a goofy looking dude...and the other guy could be a more of regular guy. I dunno...just a guess.

Theshark15z: Probably I guess, too bad the sequel to the remake was horrible. While the original sustains it's perfection.
