Suncore Refinery Thunderbolt 1003 Weekly 12:30pm Test Sarnia Canada Video

Recorded from Marysville, MI across the river from the refineries.
Thunderbolt 1003 is heard in a Pulsed wail and Alert tones for about 1 min total.
Before the 1003 turned on, I could hear a bunch of sirens whooping in the distance to the north (towards the left in frame) then after the 1003 quit, I could hear a steady tone directly across from me (east)
I recorded nearly 15 mins of sirens and silence, and the 1003 part is the only part worth showing.

FoamPackingPeanuts: Western Canada had CLMs and Mobil Directo/Allertors, perhaps some model 5T's and some Carters.

Thunderbolt1000T: I thought I could hear some 1212's in Whoop at the beginning, and maybe a Mod in Alert at the end.

kanazo: I drove by many fire departments here in Lower Mainland, and most of them had sirens dismantled. The only ones i've seen are Federal Model X on top of station in Delta and Carter style in Port Kells, Surrey

Siren1000T1: I didn't know Sarnia had any Thunderbolts. All I know is that they had RE-1600s. Nice catch Eric.

cauberallies: Awesome recording! I love it when you're far enough away to hear the reverberations, but not too far to hear it clearly.

cauberallies: And I'm pretty sure I'm hearing two Thunderbolts. Either that, or there is another siren in 5/6 or 10/12, pitched slightly lower than the 1003 in the foreground.
