State support for KPCU doubtful Video

Financial distress is not the only challenge facing the troubled Kenya Planters Co-operative Union (KPCU). The 72-year-old co-operative will soon have a new state backed coffee marketing company to contend with the Kenya Co-operative Coffee Exporters Limited. As the contention surrounding the move to place KPCU under receivership tugs on, the government is set to form an 11-member board of directors to oversee the new outfit.
