Many prestigious ethnic Tibetan Chinese artists contributed to this movie. Sonam Wangmo and Yadong, two most well-known Tibetan singers, sang the theme song for this movie. Rinchen Dhondup, the most well-known modern drama actor in Tibet, played the male lead in this movie. Tashi Dawa, the most well-known Tibetan Chinese writer, wrote the story of this movie.
