Nick’s POV.
Summer hangs up the phone and groans. She rolls back onto my chest and I stroke her back. Last night was rough after she told me about her dream. She wouldn’t stop crying… Eventually she fell asleep when her tears turned silent, but I couldn’t fall asleep until her tears stopped. Eventually they did and I fell asleep. We both were woken up by the phone ringing, so I haven’t really had time to see if she is okay now.
“Summer, darling… How are you feeling?” I ask her cautiously. She looks up at me with tired eyes, still red from crying.
“Honestly? I know this sounds stupid but… I miss Preston. And I miss the feeling of being married…” she whispers. I kiss the top of her head.
“It doesn’t sound stupid… I understand…” I tell her soothingly. To be honest myself, I wish I were married to her. That way, I’d always know she’d be mine forever…
“I guess it’s irrational though, to be upset that I woke up… I should be happy that I had such a wonderful dream… Because really, it was the second best thing to ever happen to me… Despite the fact that that’s really, really sad…” she says and laughs.
“It’s not pathetic. Because it was what you want… I’m guessing,” I respond.
“It is what I want. It’s what I want more than anything in this world, Nick. I want you to be my husband, and I want to have your child…” she whispers. I smile and kiss her softly.
“And I want nothing more than that either… I’ve been thinking about that a lot you know… It seems like forever ago that I met you…” I tell her.
“Me too… And I was convinced you’d think I was crazy…” she laughs.
“You are crazy Summer. But I love you anyway…” I joke. She smiles in return and kisses me softly.
“I love you, too, Nick. Thank you for being here for me last night…” she says thankfully.
“Anytime, for you…” I reply. I’d like to just lay here forever with Summer in my arms, but sadly, that’s not an option.
“We have to wake up Joe and Brooke… Besides. I need to get something that’s suitable for wearing in your presence…” Summer says, subconsciously crawling further under the covers. I swing the blanket aside so nothing is obscuring her from my view.
“You’re wearing a T-shirt. How is that not suitable for my presence?” I ask her, confusion in my voice.
“Look at me!” She sits up and motions to herself.
“What did you think I was doing…” I mutter, mesmerized by her beauty. Summer flops back down on the bed.
“You look stunning in very short shirts…” I say and instantly regret it. Summer giggles.
“Why thank you Nicholas… Yet I still rather be wearing something more… Not so… Something else,” Summer says, struggling to find the right words.
“Okay. Whatever you like. I’m just saying. I don’t think it makes a difference, you look beautiful either way…” I assure her.
“And cereal tastes bad,” Summer chuckles. I roll my eyes. Summer leans up and hops out of bed.
“Time to wake up Mr. and Mrs. Horndog… I bet they’re expecting us…” Summer assumes. I laugh at her joke and get up as well.
“Let me quickly change into something first. So I don’t have to do that after…” I request and head over to my bag.
“Could you pass me a pair of pants? So I don’t have to walk the halls in my underwear?” Summer asks innocently. I chuckle and nod.
“I doubt you’ll fit into these, but here they are regardless…” I say and I throw a pair of my skinny jeans over to her. She pulls the denim pants up and they look stunning on her.
“You should always wear my pants…” I remark. She laughs.
“They’re quite comfortable… They probably look awful,” she giggles.
“I said you should always wear my pants because they look good, not because I want a lighter suitcase…” I tell her. She blushes and looks at herself in the mirror.
“Hey, look at that. White V-neck, skinnies – both yours I might add – I’m like a mini Nick!” she laughs.
“I think that’s a tiny bit creepy, but because I love you, I’ll let it slide,” I joke and I pull her in for a hug. She looks up at me with a weird look in her eyes.
“You okay?” I ask her curiously.
“We were about to have sex in my dream… Does that freak you out?” she asks, completely and utterly out of the blue. I laugh.
“Not really, no… We were married weren’t we?” I laugh. She shrugs.
“Just wondering…” she replies, her cheeks an adorable shade of deep red. I kiss each of them and then her lips.
“Come on, we’re on wake up duty…”

I'm on a roll! Lol xD I could probably write another, but I'm going to focus on my other story now... Btw, I'd appreciate if you guys'd comment on both chapters... 0:)
