Jonas Daughter Story [Ch.13] Video

Nicks POV
Im sitting on the couch with Lindsey on my lap.
Nera and Joe were sitting next to each other, me and Nera would glance at each other and mouth I love you.
We both hated this.
Lindsey hugged me and sighed.
-What's wrong baby girl?-
Lindsey: I miss Alley.
I hugged her.
-I know you do.-
There was a knock on the door.
Kevin got up and opened it. It was Mom and Dad. My eyes went wide.
Mom: Hey Sweethearts!
She and Dad raced in. She looked at Lindsey and smiled sweetly.
Mom: This must be you're girlfriend!
Lindsey slightly laughed and then looked at me confused.
I went over and took them over to another room.
Mom: Nicholas, why dont you want us meeting you're girlfriend?
Dad: Yes, son, she's beautiful.
-Because, she's not my girllfriend.-
Mom :Well who is she and why is she in you're house?
-She's my, she's my daughter.-
Mom: YOUR DAUGHTER?
-SHH! Yes, my adopted daughter.-
Dad: You adopted her? What?
-She thinks that we got seperated. I adopted her because she had nowhere else to go. She was homeless. After I adopted her, I told her that we got seperated when she was younger.-
Mom: And she believes you?
Dad: Son, how old is she?
I looked down.
Dad: HOW OLD IS SHE?
-14.-
Mom: Goodness, Nicholas and you're 18? This is unbelievable. Why would you do this to her? What about when you tell her? Shes going to be crushed.
I looked down.
-It seemed like the right thing to do.-
Joe and Kevin walked behind me.
Kevin: We had no other choice.
Joe: What were supposed to do, let her starve?
Mom and dad just shook their heads and we walked out.
Joe: Mom, meet my girlfriend, Nera.
Nera smiled and hugged Mom.
Mom: Hello Sweetie.
Nera walked over and hugged Joe. She leaned up and kissed him. Right after they pulled away, she smiled and looked at me.
I looked down.
-Um, Mom, this is you're Granddaughter, Lindsey!-
Mom: Oh sweetheart, you're so beautiful!
She hugged her.
Lindsey: Hey grandma!
They visited for a little while, and then left.
-Lindsey, dinner's ready.-
Lindsey: Okay, Ill be right back.
She walked upstairs and I sighed of relief. Nera came and played with my hair.
-That was too close.-
Nera: I know. That was nervewrecking.
She kissed me and I wrapped my arms around her.
Lindsey: DAD, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
