[Jamie's POV]
"Will you marry me?" I looked down at my handsome prince and ran my fingers through his curls. He smiled. "Jamie?" I blinked once only to find him father away. "No! Nick!" He disappeared.
"Jamie?" Nick echoed. I heard everyone laughing as i looked up from my nap. I fell asleep in last period. It was just a dream. Nick looked creeped out. The school bell rang, time to go home! I quickly rushed out of there embarressed. I saw Lola at her locker which was two away from mine.
"Hey Jamie."
"Hey girl."
"Uh Jamie, you got a little drool on your cheek..."
I smacked my cheek wiping it off. "That wasn't embarressing," I added sarcastically.
"Ahww were you dreaming about Nicholas again?"
"No! I hate him! With a passion."
He walked by as I said that.
"I'll meet you two outside. Later dork." He said, talking
to me. I rolled my eyes at him "Loser," i sighed.
As Lola and I walked out of school she just wouldn't drop
the subject she called "Namie". Ugh.
"Just admit that you love my cousin!"
"I can't admit that I love him because I don't! I don't even
like him!"
Lies.
"Pleaseee. I've seen the way you two look at each other."
I scoffed.
"Ew. You've got it all wrong..."
I sat in the backseat with my head on my knees. I turned on
my iPod really loud so i could drown out the sound of Lola
blabbing on about how she thinks we should go to the mall
next week. I stared out the window but everytime i'd glance
over to the front, i'd catch Nick grinning at me through his
mirror. I didn't know what to do so I just smiled. He snapped
out of it and rolled his eyes, looking back at the road.
Boys.
Anyway. Lola lives with Nick. She refused to move when her
parents insisited. So she decided to stay with her cousins.
With my luck, i moved in 6 months ago, as their neighbor.
I got out of Nick's car before he even turned it off. I see
Kevin's car.
"KEVIN!!"
I ran up to him and gave him a big hug. He and My older
brother are best friends. My brother grew up in New Jersey
While I lived in New York because our parents got divorced.
Anyway, I met Kevin 7 years ago, he's like a brother to me.
"Why didn't you tell me you were visiting from college?!"
"Because that would ruin the whole surprise concept. DUH."
i giggled and Nick walked in smiling. He and Lola gave Kevin hugs, blah blah blah.
We sat in the living room, listening to kevin talk about his
dorm and stuff. Nick decided to be an ass.
"So...Kevo...Do you have a girlfriend yet?"
"No Nicholas. I don't. gotta problem?"
"No...it's just sad..."
I rolled my eyes as Joe walked in with his girlfriend Kellie.
"Yo Nick. You shouldn't even be talking man." I smiled at Joe while Nick glared at him. He slouched in his seat and turned his attention to me and grinned. I felt his eyes on me so I looked over at him.
"What are you staring at?" He asked me, covering the fact he was staring at ME.
"Ugh I'm leaving." Kevin got up.
"Let me walk you out, i'm getting some coffee anyway."
We walked outside until we reached my front door and
Kevin turned to face me. "So, Lola doesn't know yet either?"
I shook my head no. "You're gonna have to tell them sometime."
"No I can't Kevin! Nick hates me..."
I looked down, and Kevin lifed my chin with his finger.
"Does he Jamie? Does he really?"
He hugged me and walked over to his car. He left me alone, and confused.
