It seems like they are trying to fit into some stereotype. Kudos to the parents for letting them be who they are but still...

Gubbinz: ya, the parents aren't letting anybody do anything- they are actively supporting it. positive reinforcement is necessarily going to lead the child down the path (whatever path their parents are leading them down with their praise). a huge part of this problem is the mothers trying to doll up the kids. this sort of thing shouldn't be done to girls their age, let alone these kids!
