**Kimberlys pov**
"Kim." i turned around to face Joe. I backed myself up against the wall.
"How did you..get in here?"
"How do you think i got in here..you need to tell me what you know." he said to me. I put my hand on the wooden steak her aunt gave me but it was out of my hands in seconds. "Im not going to hurt you therefore i expect the same civil behavior. Since you picked up the wooden steak...you must know im a vampire as well." i nod as thats all i can do. "So tell me..who told you."
"Courtney's aunt."
"What did she tell you exactly...and remember..if you dont tell me i can always read your mind." Asshole much.
"She told me that you and your brothers Nicholas and Kevin are vampires. Your mom is human and your dad is a full vampire. She told me you guys used to live here..a long time ago..and that i should be careful. Thats it." he sighs running his fingers through his hair. "She also told me that you, and your dad are the only ones who drink animal blood. Your brothers like to torment humans." i say.
"It goes either way. Human blood is a drug. Once you're on it..its hard to let go of the high it gives you." he says. I see how hes calm.not that dangerous at all. He wouldn't hurt me i dont think. I sat down.
"Whats a bonding?" i ask him.
"Summary...what me and Courtney have. When a vampire falls in love and bites the one they love..the pass of blood occurs. Then if the lover was a human he or she would be changed. Only part way though. The lover would have to drink from the core..or the vampire that changed him or her." i looked at him confused and he chuckles. "Courtney fell for me..and i her. She figured out what i am. Then she asked me to change her. I did. I bit her the night we had sex and in doing so..i drank her blood. She started changing. In order for her to complete the whole process..she had to drink my blood..so she did and now shes a vampire. My bond."
"Oh..i see." i say. Everything was sinking in. "Did it...hurt her?"
"I gave her plenty of morphine..it hurt at first when i was biting her..but there was nothing i could do about it. Kim she needs you. I came here to tell you that much." he looks into my eyes now and i see something that wasn't there before. I shivered it was cold in my room. He smiled and put his hand out towards the fire place in my room. I watched the fire errupt into flames against the wood and gasped. He chuckled. "Lots more where that came from."
"Like what? Tell me!!" i jumped in my skin. He was...so..wow.
"Watch your candle." he said. My eyes flickered to my candle. I gasped watching the flame turn into all kinds of different things. A horse, a bear, rabbit, anything you could imagine. "Your fish.." he stated. I jumped to a turn watching the fish in my fish tank. It was moving all around like it usually didnt.
"Are you doing that?"
"Manipulation of the mind and some of the body..yes." he says to me.
"Why are you showing me this?" i ask him
"Kimberly...later for that. Courtney needs you..right now more than ever." he says.
"How? Why?"
"Shes pregnant." he says. My mouth drops. "But..it's not what your thinking. The baby isn't actually a baby. It's a vampire..my daughter..and Courtney's. She needs a friend." he gets up.
"B-but..i..i.."
"Just come with me so i can show you what we're really like." he says taking his hand out of his pocket and holding it out in front of me. I nod and he pulls me close to him. "Take a deep breath." he whispers. I do as im told and in seconds the wind around me is whipping and im in front of his house now. I gasp. "Sorry.." he says patting my back. "Wh-what was THAT?"
"Teleportation." he says simply. Theres this shrilling scream and he immediately runs upstairs. I walk into the house and realize what i thought was all wrong. What the whole town thinks is all wrong. Except the whole town doesn't know who the real vampires are. I do. And they're nice people. I walk up the stairs and try to follow the voices and soft shussing noises. Thats when i bump into a tall curly haired dude. And his eyes are red. If i could only remember what red means......oh shit.
