The Lake Ep. 30 Video

Episode 30:
By six oclock Vanessa had me in a black dress that reached my knees, my hair curled and partially pulled back and held in place with a pretty jeweled clip, and black heels.
Vanessa: So when is he coming to get you
Miley: Oh he said he was meeting me there
Vanessa: Oh um Ill call Zac.
Miley: Its okay. Ill walk. {hugs her} Thanks V {walks out}
Taylors POV
Me and Joe decided to head to the lake just the two us. He never let go of my hand. He laid down on the soft and I lay down with my head on his stomach. He softly ran his fingers through my curly hair as we watched as the stars began to make their appearance in the sky which was taking on a beautiful deep blue color. Joe had taken me here last night and we did the same thing we were doing now.
Taylor: {sighs} {whispering softly} You lift my feet off the ground you spin me around you make me crazier, crazier. Feels like Im falling and Im lost in your eyes. You make me crazier, crazier. {continues singing softly}
Joe: Thats the only song Ive heard you sing.
Taylor: {smiles and looks up at him}
Joe: {pushes the hair from her eyes} You look really pretty.
Taylor: {giggles} Thank you Joey.
Joe: {smiles}
Taylor: {looks back up at the sky}
Joe: {sighs peacefully} Hey Tay?
Taylor: Hmm?
Joe: Do you miss your old home?
Taylor: not really. I like it here. I actually have friends. People arent so judgmental here. I can actually be myself.
Mileys POV
Ive been sitting here on this bench outside this restaurant for two hours. I soon came to the conclusion that he wasnt coming and when that sudden realization hit I could feel my eyes begin to burn and soon tears were threatening to fall. I grabbed my purse beside me and started walking. I wiped the tears from my eyes and tried to stay strong but when I heard the sudden crash of thunder and felt the small drops falling onto my face it all started pour out like the rain pouring from the sky.
Nicks POV
I looked over at the clock, 8:20. Miley must be having fun on her date. I heard the sound of raindrops tapping against my window and heard the sound of thunder filling the quiet room. My fingers found there way back to the soft music I had been playing. I heard a door open and close and footsteps walking down the hall. My door swung open and what I saw next broke my heart into a million pieces. There stood Miley soaking wet and crying. I wasted no time sitting there and practically threw myself off the bed and pulled her into welcoming arms. I didnt say I told you so, I didnt laugh, and I didnt fuss her for accusing me. I just held her close as she cried, ignoring the fact that the front of my shirt was now soaking wet as well. Her sobs slowly calmed down but her breathing was still rigid.
Miley: Whywhy arent you mad at me?
Nick: Miles being mad at you would be like Ashley being mad at her new bunny friend.
Miley: {lets out a choked out laugh}
Nick: {stokes her hair}
Miley: Im sorry.
Nick: Its ok.
Miley: I yelled at you. I never yell at you.
Nick: People make mistakes. Come on {pulls away and turns around}
Miley: {jumps onto his back]
Nick: {walks out of the room towards the kitchen, grabbing a towel in the bathroom on the way} {sets her down and wraps her up in the towel} {sits her down in the chair and grabs a carton on ice cream and two spoons and sets them on the table} {kneels down and unfastens the strap of her heels and pulls them off} {sits down in the chair next to her}
Miley: {takes a big spoon of ice cream} {sniffles}
Nick: {rubs her back}
Miley: I really am sorry.
Nick: Its all been forgotten. Now tell me what went wrong on the date
Miley: {stabbing the ice cream with her spoon} There never was one. I sat waiting for him for two hours. {pauses} Im so stupid
Nick: No youre not. Youre the smartest person I know
Miley: I took the side of a guy I knew was bad news over my best friend. I was the one who said best friends first and here I go
Nick: {takes a spoon of ice cream and sticks it her mouth} You are not stupid. Everyone makes mistakes.
Miley: {removes the spoon}
Nick: That guy doesnt deserve you and you dont deserve what he did to you.
Miley: I still feel bad.
Nick: {sighs} You shouldnt.
Miley: You always being nice, is going to get you in trouble someday
Nick: Being mean will get you nowhere in life
Miley: Youre to smart for 16 year old boy.
Nick: {smiles} Maybe Im not really 16
Miley: {smiles} Thanks
Nick: anytime {kisses her forehead}
