psion128: If the debt cap is raised, US T-bills may be dropped from lots of investment portfolio on the international market. Just a nasty fact that Americans want to ignore. We are broke like a bad joke and we all want to look the other way. :(

blastagtar: Thank you for seeing the truth. Thats the only way for the US to fund these programs. China has been buying, but look to be done very soon. Hopefully this bill doesnt pass, we cant afford to go trillions more in debt. 5 dollar gallons of milk doesnt sound too enticing either.
