Kaoss Pad 3 - Quarantine Video

Let me tell you a story. It's not a happy story. Earlier today, I spent about two and a half hours working on a Kaoss Pad mix especially for youtube. I recorded and filmed this mix numerous times. Eventually I got it absolutely perfect [I didn't really but I'm exaggerating for the purposes of dramatic effect]. I then turned off my camera and whacked my memory card into my computer to bring the video to everyone in the whole wide world. But the video was GONE......... and I had turned off the KP3 and lost the samples and was very very sad.

So I made another one. Bad story, I know. But I'm sitting here waiting for the upload to finish.. la la la. This video is very dark, due to my bedroom being very dark. At least you get to appreciate the beautiful flashing lights of this beautiful machine. If you've never held one or seen one in real life, you should. They're built seemingly extremely solidly ly ly ly.

All the samples on this track were created by me on my Nintendo DS. They were all taken straight off the DS via RCA cable into the KP3.

psychopath3000: hey hey. Yes, the guitar is from Jam Sessions (quite a useful little game actually, considering it cost £5 when I bought it) and the bass is from DS 10. The other sounds are actually from Nitrotracker, so technically they are samples from my computer, but still!

psychopath3000: The effect at 2:47 is feedback echo. It builds itself up like that, and doesn't end until you change the effect patch :)
