'Are You Afraid Of The Dark?' A Halloween One-Shot Video

I wrapped my arms around my shivering legs as I allowed my smirking boyfriend tell a scary tell.
"Are you sure this wont scare you mindless, Mi? Tell me now." My boyfriend Nick asked. I gulped.
"Just continue, Nick. I'll be perfectly fine." I egged him on. He bought the lie. Of course I was going to be scared. This is Nicholas Jonas. He's the master of telling the haunting tales.
"It was a dark stormy night on October 31st, 1801. There was this man. He had natural curls slicked back and his brown eyes would shimmer in the rain. He had his trusty steed by his aide and all you could hear was the clank of hooves on the pavement. Let me remind you this is on a stormy night and this man was alone." Nick said with this smirk on his pale face.
"Whats his name? How old was he?" I interrupted. Nick's smirk grew wider.
"Lets call him Joe. Erm... Well say he's nineteen. Is that good enough for you, Mi?" He asked me. I nodded and he continued.
"Well Joe was a fine young man. He did well in school and had many friends. Many girls found him attractive, so he was an all around good guy." I was rocking back and forth on the hard floor. I knew this story was going to the frightening part.
"Joe was walking alone that night. He was on his way to visit his girlfriend, Demetria. They've been going steady for about a year. While Joe was on his way to Demetria's home. He heard footsteps behind himself." I froze. As much of a scaredy cat as I was I promised myself not to scream.
"Joe knew it must be his imagination. Of course it was Halloween night and there was bound to be pranksters about him. He just smirked to himself. The footsteps grew closer and closer to himself. He just continued to ignore the fact that someone was following him. He had his hand grasped tightly around the reigns on the horse. His horse was beginning to sense some sort of presence. Joe had to grasp tighter and tighter to make sure the horse wouldn't run away. Then.. Miley? You okay babe?" Nick asked me worriedly. I was shaking badly. As much as this story was scaring me, I didn't want him to stop. I needed him to continue.
"I'm just cold, Nick. Continue with the story. I'll be okay." I lied through my teeth. Nick stood up and shrugged his heavy snow jacket off his muscular body and wrapped it around my own.
"Better?" He asked curiously. I nodded and he sat on the floor. Goosebumps rising on his forearms.
"Like I was saying. The horse was sensing something horrible. Out of nowhere the horse got enough strength and stomped away quickly. Neighing loudly. "Bloody Hell." Joe murmured to himself. He had no clue what had gotten into his trusty steed. Until a perky velvet voice perked up. "Joseph?" She asked. Joe turned around and faced Demetria. "Were you the one following me my fair maiden?" Joe wondered aloud. She nodded and took a step forward. She wasn't the same. Joe could tell immediately. Demetria had blood on her perfect white dress and a hammer in her other hand. "Demetria. What has happened?" Joe asked yet again. Joe had gotten no answer. Because he blacked out. Do you want to know why he blacked out, Mi?" Nick asked with a hoarse voice. I nodded.
"Demetria had killed him. No one knows what ever happened to them. No one knows why Demetria would do that to her beloved Joe. Maybe because she had caught him with another fair maiden. We'll never know..." Nick flicked the lights on in his room and stared at my expression. I stood up quickly and rushed to his side. I wrapped my arms around his body.
"Its not real. Right Nick?" I asked quickly. He chuckled.
"None of it is true, Miley. Its all for fun. Trust me..."

That night Nick and Miley slept in each others arms. Miley wanted this horrid story to go away. She knew that Nick had made it up, but it seemed so real. The following Monday Nick and Miley took their seats in their first period class. The teacher started the day off by welcoming two new students. The new students stood in front of the room. Why did Miley look behind herself and look at Nick worriedly. Why did Nick have this frightened look on his face? Only because the new students names were Joseph and Demetria. Joseph's hair was slicked back and Demetria was wearing a white dress. With a huge red stain..
