A jeweler/shotgun builder and a film industry Teamster head out to the high desert country of New Mexico to field test two custom Kalashnikov 12 gauge shotguns. The purpose of the test was to establish cycling reliability with 12 round magazines and a twenty round drum, and additionally to test the semi auto fire rate of the shotguns. These custom Kalashnikov shotguns performed flawlessly cycling ammo ranging from high brass 00 buck, to $20 100 pack ammo from a well know national chain store.
