Dad: No...not really. I think Dallas Maldo...is Demis sister.
Mom: Her sister?
Dad: Its a long story.
Mom: I have time.
Dad: Okay...well it started before I met Demis mother. I met a girl in high school and she and I got in a really bad break up and so we went to different colleges and then I met Demis mother in college but thats a different story. Anyways I saw her again but with a baby. She told me it was our baby and I freaked and I never saw or heard from any of them after that.
Mom: Oh...
Dad: Um, im gonna go visit Demi and see how shes doing.
Mom: Ooh! Dont forget to tell her about her new sibling!
Dad: [laughs] Dont worry I will. [smiles as he leaves]

Meanwhile...
*Kevin is sitting on the bench with the book in his hands.
Miley: [walking towards Kevin] Hey. [smiles]
Kevin: [puts the book behind him] Hey Miley. [smiles]
Miley: Whats that?
Kevin: Whats what?
Miley: [laughs as she sits beside him] That?
Kevin: [pulls it out] I bought it for you. [give her the Twilight book]
Miley: [Smiles] You bought the twilight book!!! Thank you Kevin!!! [hugs him]
Kevin: Your welcome. [smiles]
Miley: [smiles as they both look into each others eyes] So you love me?
Kevin: Yea, I do. I love you.
Miley: I love you too.
Kevin: [leans in to kiss her]
Miley: [leans in and kisses Kevin]

Meanwhile...
Selena: Im gonna be an older sister!
Nick: [laughs]
Selena: [smiles and sits on her bed] So what were you saying before?
Nick: Oh, uh...nothing.
Selena: It didnt sound like nothing.
Nick: It was nothing. I just wanted to ask you if...you wanted to take a walk.
Selena: Sure. [smiles] But we cant take long. If my step dad comes home and were not here he probably be disappointed in me.
Nick: [laughs] Okay.

Meanwhile...
*Someone knocks on the door.
Joe: [sighs] Ill get it.
Demi: [laughs]
Joe: [opens door] Hey, Mr. Lovato!
Dad: Hey Joe.
Demi: [turns around] Dad?
Dad: Hey Demi!
Demi: Dad!!! [stands up] I thought you were in Vegas. [hugs him]
Dad: We left early because your step mother is pregnant!
Demi: [jaw drops] Shes pregnant!!!
Joe: Wow, congratz, sir!
Dad: [laughs] You can call me Steven or dad, Joe. [smiles]
Demi: [smiles]
Joe: [laughs] Okay, dad. [smiles]
Dad: So I heard you went to the hospital.
Demi: oh...yea.
Joe: Im really sorry.
Dad: What happened?
Joe: My mom came back to visit me after 15 years and she sorta made Demi fall down the stairs.
Dad: ... oh.
Joe: I didnt want her to talk to Demi or me because it would upset all of us.
Dad: You did what you can Joe, its okay. [smiles]
Joe: [smiles] Thanks.
Dad: So whats up with the baby?
Demi: Well, shes doing good. We heard her heartbeat today.
Dad: Thats great Demi!
Joe: Does your Dad know her name?
Demi: no, not yet.
Dad: Whats her name?
Demi: Hayley Sarah Jonas.
Dad: Sarah, your mothers name.
Demi: Yes. [looks down]
Joe: [sees Demis discomfort]
*Joe wants to go over and cheer her up but doesnt want to disrupt the conversation.
Dad: Its a beautiful name. [smiles]
Demi: [looks up and smiles] Really?
Joe: [smiles in relief]
Dad: Yes. Its a perfect name.
