I was cold when i got up. I rolled over but he pulled me back.
"I'd prefer if you stay here." his voice is strained. Tired. Worried?
"Whats wrong?" i ask rolling on top of him and laying my head against his chest
"Nothing...my..dads here." he says. I look into his eyes.
"Is that bad?"
"No..but he told me something." he said.
"What might that be.."
"Court...we had sex the night i changed you.While i changed you..." he says running his fingers through my hair.
"Yes...i know..and.."
"You might be pregnant." my jaw drops and he looks back up at the ceiling. "He told me when i told him everything. He thinks you're what i've been searching for my whole life. After Carmen..i was depressed. But he seems to think im happy now. So do my brothers."
"How..does he know."
"Hes physic honey..he saw us together..with a baby." again my mouth dropped. "My reaction exactly."
"Is it the same for vampires?"
"Yes and no...but im..actually certain...that you are." he says.
"How?"
"When i healed you..i felt something different. Something strong. Almost like i didnt need to heal you. Like something was doing it for me." he says. "You know we've been together for a while."
"I know." i smile laying my head back against him. He holds me tight.
"Its possible for vamps to have children you know.."
"I didnt know that...but..now i do i guess."
"You okay?"
"I don't know..is there anyway to find out for sure.."
"A sonogram sounds most appropriate..but who knows what the hell could happen with that. All my dad has to do is touch you and he'll know but i told him to give us time...i wanted to tell you first." I move to kiss him. He rolls over laying me against the bed and moving his hand to my waist.
"I love you." i say.
"I love you too." he smiles kissing my for head.
"Lets go see your dad." i say getting up. He pushes me back down.
"Wait.." he says kissing me. I smile hooking my arms around his neck. I jumped feeling my stomach turn around. Butterflies? "What love?" he asks me.
"I..my stomach..i have butterflies.." i say to him. He lays a hand on my stomach smiling his ass off.
"But what could you be nervous about?" he asks
"Meeting your dad." he still has a smirk on his face.
"Riiiight..." he helps me up and i take my hair out of the ponytail. I close my eyes for a second and then hear the water running. He grabs my hair pulling it out of the ponytail. "I love how you struggle with simple things." i lean back against him.
"I want you to...hug me." i say to him. He wraps his arms around me tight and picks me up.
"How bout shower sex?"
"Even better."
Okay so i dont need to tell you what happened there..Lets just say there was a lot more steam than needed. He pulled on a shirt and i fixed my hair.
"You look so hot right now." he says slapping my ass. I jump and he chuckles.
"Thanks babee." i say pulling him close to me. He coils his arms around my waist and rests his head on my shoulder.
"I can feel you're worried." he says.
"Yeah well..so are you."
"Touche." he moves his lips along my jaw line. My body is still tingling. "Kim?" he questions running out the door. I follow him but bump into a tall man. His hair is curly like Joe and his brothers. His eyes are closed but he smiling.
"Ah..you must be Courtney...the lovely girlfriend." says the man.
"Joe where is she?" I hear Kim walking as she talks.
"Wait Kim just hold on a se-"
"Kimmy!" i smile. Joes dad lets go of me but his facial expression never changes.
"You're going to tell me what you are and you're going to tell me right now!"
