Lindseys POV
When we got out of the car, Joe and Nick ran to Alley's side of the car and put their arms around her.
They helped her inside, she was drunk to the max.
Kevin: What are we going to do? We can't call her parents!
Nick just looked down, his face was turning red and his fists were clenching.
Nick: I just want to go give her parents a piece of my mind.
I let a tear escape from my eye.
Nick ran over to me and hugged me tight.
Nick: What kind of sick person would ever want to hurt their own child?
-You really care?-
He quickly pulled away from me and looked me in the eyes.
Nick: Of course I care, what makes you think that I dont?
-I have to go.-
I started to walk away, he put his hands on my shoulders and pulled me back, his eyes were staring at mine, trying to find answers.
Joe pulled him off and Kevin lightly hugged me. They all walked over to Alley.
Nick: Alley, you need to go to sleep now.
Alley: N-no I have to go home
She started getting up, Kevin pushed her back down.
Kevin: I'll stay up with her. Everyone else, go to sleep. I think we're all gonna need it for tomorrow.
I quickly went up to my room and shut the door. I laid down in my bed and turned off the lights. I played some soft music and started to drift slowly asleep.
I heard the door open and footsteps come over to the bed.
Nick: Lindsey? Linds, sweetie, are you awake?
I didnt say anything, he turned the soft music off and lightly turned me so he could see my face.
He moved a piece of hair out of my face and kissed my head.
Nick: Okay, Lindsey. I love you so much baby girl. You dont know how much. It's like I dont think I could've made it this far without you. You are the best daughter I could ever dream of having. I cant lose you, and thats why i've been so protective over you. Dont ever think that I dont care, and that I hate you. Alright, I need you to understand that.
He kissed my head and I acted like I was waking up.
Nick: Im sorry sweetheart, did I wake you up?
-No, it's alright Dad.-
I hugged him, he kept a grip on it.
Nick: Do you want to talk about what happened earlier?
-No, it dosent matter anymore.-
I rolled over so I wasnt facing him anymore, he stroked my hair.
Nick: It does matter. We're father and daughter, we're supposed to be close, you know you can talk to me about anything right?
I nodded and he sighed.
Nick: You've got school tomorrow, get some sleep.
-What are you going to do about Alley?-
Nick: She'll be with a family that loves her in the morning. Dont worry about it, just sleep.
I turned my music back on and slowly drifted off to sleep.
