One by one, President Barack Obama spoke the names and told the stories Tuesday of the 13 people slain in the Fort Hood, Texas shooting rampage, honoring their memories even as he denounced the 'twisted logic' that led to their deaths. (Nov. 10)

The world has a habit of repeating mistakes. 9/11 didn't even wake us up...we spent more energy as a people blaming the Bush administration calling it an inside job, than we did researching the fundamental ideology of the people who attacked us. scotthebruce: here's a fact you can add to your list-suicide bombing certainly isn't a christian radical tenet--yet muslims do it and have done it at least every week for the past several years. I wasn't defending christianity either--i was assaulting a faith that breeds more violence on an individual level than any other religion. no one involved in US gangs prays to god before they kill someone over drugs or territory--that is such a feeble attempt to try and target christianity as a radical faith.
