Brianswers: I'm almost old enough to have watched the original series on tv. lol. Well I did watch it but in reruns. Yeah, it's bad. Shatner is a bad actor but it was still entertaining. :p I miss the transmitting live even though I know it's not really live :) What did you think of your home states governer's performance during the election? I was expecting you to do a video on that. lol

There I was feeling happy for you - right up until the word "off" came out. It helps to know that Shatner came to his most famous gig straight from Canada's Stratford Shakespeare Festival scene ... in a big room, in the absence of close-ups or mics, one has no choice BUT to chew the hell out of the scenery. That stuff works well onstage. On TeeVee, not so much.
MentalHygienist: Boo-urns re. the off-laying! See, now is the time you need to connect with Trek's silly roots! The silliness is why IV was the second best Trek movie (after Khan) - it tapped into the core whimsy. I hope you tap into your core whimsy and vlog with abandon!

maestrohammer: I'm an old geezer now, but I still remember hiding behind my dad's chair to watch the original trek when it aired in the 60s. It came on after my bed time. In the 80s, we kidnapped a friend on the eve of his wedding and in an effort to make him renounce marriage, forced him to listen to the solo albums recorded by Shatner & Nimoy. These albums are truly awful and should be a part of any nerd's library.
