When you spend on a credit card, you are reminded of it when the bill comes due the following month. But when our government spends on credit cards, there's usually nothing to jog our memories. That's why--one month later--we revisit our state government employees' credit card charges highlighted by a state audit. The Department of Administration lets state employees make credit card purchases for state purposes, but, as the audit illustrates...you wonder whether the employees might have been more careful with their own debit cards.
