**Courtneys pov**
I got out of my car. My head was pounding and my throat hurt bad. I could feel the burning sensation.
"Courtney." My aunt stops me. "Where have you been?"
"With Joe." i hiss. I realize my voice has changed. But my fangs..they're still there..oh no.
"Hey get over here." She says as i begin to walk up the stairs.
"No." i reply fighting the urge to shred her to pieces. I slam my door shut and Kimmy is sitting on my bed. I clamp my jaw shut tight.
"Where have you been bestfriend?" she asks me.
"Kimmy leave." i say opening my door. Jake is standing there. My head starts to spin and my heart thumps in my chest. Wait thats not my heart. Why is there more than one beating organ. Oh shit. I can hear their blood running through their veins. I can smell the rusty smell through the skin.
"Courtney." she gets up grabbing my arm. I shut my eyes.
"Kim..no dont touch me." i cry feeling the tears in my eyes.
"What did he do?" Jake asks placing his hand on my shoulder.
"Nothing." i whisper.
"Jake leave." Kim says. He kisses my cheek and i gulp as he does so. He leaves right after and she pulls me to my bed. "Come on girl tell me.." i back away from her feeling myself lose control. I cant bite her. I cant do it! I will not. My heart is racing my head pounding. She grabs my hand and my eyes shoot open. I bare my fangs hissing and she screams. "Oh my god! Courtney! WHAT DID HE DO TO YOU!" i calm myself down but the burning never leaves.
"Kim listen to me."
"Your voice..your eyes...fangs? The way you pull away from me and Jake. You're...you're a.."
"Say it..go ahead say it."
"I cant." she clamps her hand over her mouth crying. "I..i..i have to go." she gets up quick.
"Kim honey wait." i reach for her but she pulls away.
"No..dont..dont touch me!" i flinch when the door slams and scream into my pillow when shes gone.
**end pov**

**Josephs pov**
I could feel her struggling. She was home.
"Brady...i have to go..sorry." i rush out the door to my car.
"YOU CANT RUN FORM THIS JOSEPH!" he yells.
"Fuck you. Right now i can." i speed off down the hill and to her house. I pull up and get out fast. I hear yelling and i barge through the door. You dont want to piss off a new vampire. I know from experience.
"JOE?!" they yell. I close her bedroom door behind me and see her gasping on her bed. I rush over to her side.
"Court..come on.."
"W-wait..no..Joe..i c-cant leave."
"LOOK AT YOU! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE RIGHT NOW!" i pick her up in my arms and jump out the window into the dark. I put her in my car and then quickly go back to get her clothes.
"I..have to tell...them."
"Later baby later." i say.
"COURTNEY!" Cecilia yells. She gets up but i can already see it happening. I grab her arms pulling her into me and she starts screaming. Shes officially changing.
"WHATS GOING ON?!" Jake yells trying to push me away. She grips my shirt tightly screaming in pain. I bring her inside setting her on the couch.
"Courtney..listen to me..you need to do one more thing for me." i shut the door with my mind keeping them outside. She nods and i hold out my wrist.
"Wh-what...are y-y-you DOING?!" she shreiks when i run the knife along my wrist leaving a ruby red line of blood.
"Go ahead.." i say looking into her orange eyes. "This is the last stage. This is why i didnt want you to leave. Come on now..dont be afraid..after everything you've done.." she grabs my wrist and starts sucking on my blood. I smile running my fingers through her hair. She pulls away after a minute and i smile when the slash closes. "Better?" she nods yes and i pick her up bringing her upstairs. I run back downstairs and face her family. I look each one of them in the eye and wait for them to fall to the ground sleeping. I chuckle. Love my powers. After i get them inside i go back to Courtney.
"Joe.." she rolls over.
"Yes..?" i sit down on the edge of her bed. She has tears in her eyes. "What is it?"
"Make Kimmy forget." she cries. "Tell her..tell her that it was a dream and that im still the same person. Im still her bestfriend. I need to tell her. She cant find out like that." i pull her into my arms holding her.
"Are you sure?" i ask.
"Please." i kiss her hair
"Alright..get some rest i'll be back. I love you." i whisper into her ear. Before she can say anything back im gone. Out into the night in the dark. Bonded..by blood.
