sharkloaner: Thanx for the advice but I'm prepared and Im preparing as we speak. My cellar is loaded wit beans, rice, tomatoe sauce, cooking oil, pickled veggies, honey (I don't eat suger), vitamins etc-enough to last me a year if all shops closed tomorrow. But Im buying even more foods and other stuff. So rest assure, the days when I ended up on the streets (even though a have a university degree) are over. There will be other unfortunate souls starving before I go down. Thanx for the advice.

However I have a little gold and silver but that's dangerous to carry around. However, I used to hike thru the mountains since I was 16. If worst comes I'll disappear into the mountains with a gun and try to wait out the bad times. I'm a vicious survivalist. I can sleep in the outdoors in the winter and not die. I did it for almost a month.
sharkloaner: I trive in the forest as if it was my second place to live. I have some skills, used to be a pathfinder with the army. NO rain or snow can make me perish. I can eat bark, forrest veggies, insects and other shit. I mean shit. You can find seeds in the poo of animals in the forest. I know it sounds disgusting but that's life. If apocalypse comes people will not be safe in the cities as they'll die of starvation, crime and roundups. The mountains is the only option if u want to survive.

poolshark73185: A couple reasons. First, it is real money, just like gold, so it will store value just the same. Second, Silver is considered undervalued currently compared to gold using historical Gold/silver ratios. Third, while gold is making new highs, silver has yet to hit its high from last year. All in all, it is widely believed that silver has more room to run than gold. Generally silver is more volatile so you take more risk however the returns in this PM bull market should make you a happy man
poolshark73185: Also, you mentioned gold is for the big boys This is true. I can afford gold and the premium on fractionals is IMO unwarrented. Instead, silver trades at <$19/oz currently which is affordable for most people

jsickel2: While you were unemployed for 2 years or however long it lasts, you should have looked at the job market, chosen something that was in demand, and learned the skill. If you couldn't because your "benefits" didn't cover your education costs, you should have been smart enough to go to a cheap technical school on loans. You're clearly don't make good decisions.
powermousey: I have been looking for a job in various areas that I know. And also planning on how to study and utilize of what I already know. And look into other skills and fields. I have finally found another job. And I'm in training and thankful for this job. Yet, in the future please do not presume that you know me and as well as how I go about making decisions. And whether I go to technical schools or not. Next time, ask me first rather than lecture to me. Thank you.
