johnkerry7: ugh...way to go GW... so whats next for the next codex. How about when they re-do Black Templars they make a character that lets you field Land Raiders as Troop choices as well.

1RedCorsair: im not convinced. 1. counts as troop choice 2. counts as troops (this can mean both 1 or 3) 3. counts as scoring And why does it mean that fenris wolves can hold objective just because they are taken as troops? its clearly says that they can not hold objectives. I agree it's fuzzy but why would they not write counts as troop choice? its been done in other codex's.

BeastsOfWar: @1RedCorsair - Ok What i said is this. The rule for 'counts as troops' is written exactly the same for Logans Termies and Canis's Fenrisians. Fenrisians cannot hold objectives under any circumstances so the rule only makes sense for them if they act as a troop selection. therefore (because the wording is identical) Logans Termies are a troop selection. Simple :oS

1RedCorsair: If you ask me then it should have said under fenrisan wolves "..... cannot hold objectives under any circumstances unless taken in an army with Canis wolfborn" but i hear ya. Time will tell when people come to tournaments with wolf terminator armies.

jasonlotito: @1RedCorsair The benefit to the rule is that you can take more than just 3 of them. You can fill your army with 6 of them if you wanted. They can't take objectives, but it allows you to take a lot more. GW has never been about vetting it's rules through rules lawyers. They just make the rules *good enough* for them, and figure the rest of the war gaming community will employ common sense. =)

Atrodad: Simple as this: Both the terminator and the wolves can be counted as a troop choice for the selection in the organisation chart but non of them can under any circumstances hold an objektiv.

Trueflights: wolfguard terminator armies have been a massive feature of the space wolves since early second edition. its nice to see them making a comeback. Just be glad that you don't have the typo in the codex that they had back in 2nd edition that allowed the entire unit of wolfguard to be armed with both assault cannons and cyclone missile launchers, lol. They did fix that eventually, but it was fun to see 20 terminators unloading full cyclone missile salvos in one turn, lol.

Kapelannew: well and what do you get semi death ming army......come to think of it its actualy cool.... ALL your termis will have to be different and wound alocation willl be just inscane.

repentia1: no the rules pretty clear that they r troop choices. put simply if they where not it would have been worded like pedro kantors stern guard "count as scoring units" .

repentia1: they count as a troops CHOICE so when ur choosing your troops u can choose them. if they where elites but could capture objectives they would be worded like this: Wolf guard and wolf guard battle leaders in a army with logan grimnar count as scoring units. but as it is it says they r troops CHOICES

westboarder: I fail to see why. Because it would be cheesy? That's never stopped GW before.
