The Swell Season - Feeling The Pull Video

The fifty-eighth of my "not uploaded till now" videos. I am to upload a series of songs that yet have to find their way onto youtube.

In what has been a lean year for top quality music (particularly compared to last year), The Swell Season's "Strictly Joy" may perhaps prove to be the standout album that I personally have managed to listen to. Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova create wonderfully intimate songs about love and heartbreak with delicate songcraft and fragile voices that add to the introspective power of this album. "Strictly Joy" is an absolute gem and while "Feeling The Pull" is discernibly up-tempo, if you listen to the lyrics you can sense that warmth, affection and the emotion the band have put into the creation of each track.
